Please feel free to suggest books for our reading pleasure by mentioning them in the comments! I am using the bedtime reading to get away from all the picture books and tackle some happy "thicker" reading that is at least somewhat understandable for a 1 and a 3-year-old, but feel free to suggest any sort! Thanks and happy reading!:
- Honey Bunch: Just a Little Girl by Helen Louise Thorndyke: the first in its series; an old-fashioned, out-of-print book about a little girl who plays with her dolls, has tea parties with her Mommy, invites little friends for a dolly tea, and has such a charmingly simple, happy life.
- Honey Bunch: Her First Trip to a Farm by Helen Louise Thorndyke
- Honey Bunch: Her First Days at Camp by Helen Louise Thorndyke
- Honey Bunch: Her First Trip on the Ocean by Helen Louise Thorndyke
- The Milly-Molly-Mandy Storybook by Joyce Lankester Brisley: A collection of stories from 1925 about a darling little girl in the Netherlands who is sweet and helpful and thoroughly fun! She lives with her mother, father, grandma, uncle, and aunt. Her innocent adventures include running errands and deciding how to spend a penny. Beautifully illustrated.
- The Tales of Peter Rabbit and His Friends by Beatrix Potter : a collection of Beatrix Potter's work which includes the "Tailor of Gloucester" and other gems.
- The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame
After our normal bedtime reading, the girls love to listen to audio books on their bedroom's CD-player. The following is a list of their favorites: (Please feel free to suggest some good audio books to us because they are such fun!)

- Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder, read by Cherry Jones
